Introducing Our Guest Speaker
Shelley Walters
Shelley Walters brings over 23 years of B2B sales experience and has built a long-standing reputation for high sales performance. She is the Founder and CEO of The Sales Counsel and the creator of Africa’s first Remote Selling School, delivering world-class skills digitally to businesses worldwide through her online training and keynote presentations.
She was awarded the PWC Gender Mainstreaming Award in the category “Inclusive Leader: Entrepreneur” and was runner-up for “Positive Role Model: Entrepreneur” in the 2019 Gender Mainstreaming Awards, South Africa.
Starting at 19 in office automation sales, Shelley went on to sell asset finance for South Africa’s first BEE Asset Finance Company before becoming sales and marketing manager at Kingfisher FM, where she also co-hosted the breakfast show.
In 2011, she moved from Nelson Mandela Bay to Johannesburg after being headhunted by Raizcorp to mentor over 60 companies. Shelley left the safety net of full-time employment in 2012 when she founded Shelley Walters Inc., followed by The Sales Counsel (Pty) Ltd in 2016, which has since worked with companies like Coca-Cola, Dimension Data, and MTN.
Since then, she has travelled extensively, speaking to audiences worldwide. She represents South Africa as a panellist in the annual international Women in Sales Awards in Europe and has been featured in publications such as Business Day TV, Business Report Online, 702, Cliff Central, and SABC Channel Africa.

Jazzelle Kebakile
Jazzelle Kebakile is a Creative Industry Entrepreneur & Communications Specialist based in Botswana. She operates in the country’s high-level events sector & entertainment industry. Her career began in radio broadcasting in Gaborone over 20 years ago. Today, she is also a seasoned Voiceover Artist that has lent her voice to a variety of productions for radio and TV adverts, telephone prompts for major companies and cellular network voiceovers.
Jazzelle was recognised by entertainment industry peers with the Icon Award presented to her during the 2023 YAMAS (Yarona FM Music Awards) for her significant contributions to the public-speaking community in Botswana and the Yarona FM brand.
As an Event MC she has participated in some of Botswana’s most iconic & high-level events. Previous clients include major brands and organisations such as Office of The President in Botswana, Botswana Stock Exchange, Botswana Police Service, Orange Botswana, Botswana Tourism Organisation & Naledi Motors – Mercedes Benz dealership in Botswana.
